Dental Marketing-2017 earns ACE Certification

The 35th International Conference on Dentistry & Dental Marketing is proud to announce that the Las Vegas Dental event scheduled to be held in October 2017 has been certified as an Academic Conference of Excellence European Scientific Institute (ESI).

“Academic Conference Excellence (ACE) is an objective measurement unit for the determination of the quality of specific academic event. ACE logo is awarded to serious high-rank events, which is expected to result in a quality scientific outcome.

The initiative for this project came into being due to the demand of the scientific community, asking for a kind of classification and ranking of the numerous international conferences and forums organized nowadays. Thus, it will help to facilitate and guide the researchers in the process of selecting a suitable academic event to attend.

The goal of the ACE logo is to represent a symbol of quality event which meets all the academic standards, and rank them at the same time. This logo certifies that a certain conference meets the set quality and quantitative standards. By visitig ACE website, everyone will have an opportunity to easily check if an event meets the academic criteria or not.”- ESI

The global dental fraternity mourns the loss of Professor Carl E Misch, as the legendary educator passed away on December 4 .

Carl E Misch ( 1947-2017) is indeed a titan of the modern dental scenario, not only in the United States but globally. His numerous achievements are a partial testament to the greatness of the man often called (rightly ) “The father of Implant dentistry”.

Prof. Misch graduated “magna cum laude” from the University of Detroit Dental School in 1973.  After receiving his Master’s degree from the University Of Pittsburgh School Of Dental Medicine, he was awarded Ph.D. degrees from as many as 3 different universities. Besides serving as a fellow for more than 10 very prestigious societies, the Professor founded the ‘Misch International Implant Institute” (MIII) which has trained over 4,500 dentists till date. His book “Contemporary Implant Dentistry” is thought of as an authoritative guide for and by students of implant dentistry and has been translated into 9 languages including Japanese, Spanish, Portuguese, Turkish, Italian and Korean. In 2014 he was awarded the “Distinguished service award” by the American Dental Association. He has authored more than 250 scientific articles and 6 books.

The demise of Prof. Misch has left the international dental community in despair as several dentists around the world have taken to social media to express their grief and honor “The Professor”.  “It is indeed a sad day for all his followers and the admirers of his work, his legend shall live on. I offer my condolences to his entire family, all his friends and students. May his benevolent soul rest in peace” said Dr. Ahmed Halim Ayoub, the president of the Egyptian Society of Oral Implantology.

His work is unforgettable, his legacy unparalleled and while he is no more among us, he will forever be alive through his work and his teachings. We pray for his soul as we bid him our goodbye.
